How would you describe your style? I like to combine classic styles with unique design elements.

Do you remember the first thing you made? I knitted a sweater for school when I was in fifth grade. Luckily my skills have improved!

If I weren’t a maker I’d be... I’d open a doggy daycare.

Favorite quote or words to live by: The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

If I could run away I’d go… The Sacred Valley in the Andean region of Peru.

If you could collaborate with one person dead or alive who would it be? Carolina Herrera. I love her feminine, clean cut style and how she incorporates just one element that stands out.

What would be on your maker’s soundtrack? “Ojala” by Joaquin Sabina, “Murder in the City” by The Avett Brothers, “Te Mando Flores” by Fonseca, “Torna a Casa” by Maneskin

If you could learn a new skill what would it be? How to play the piano.

Last book you read? The Daughters of Erietown by Connie Schultz.

Favorite artist? Dietlind Vander Schaaf. I love her abstract style and use of soothing colors.

What do you hear right now? My dog’s squeaky toy. Paco is obsessed with it and it’s my almost constant background noise.

Any hidden talents? Juggling

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Lima, Peru (where I’m from) and moved around throughout my childhood to Ecuador, Germany and the US.

Favorite thing to cook? Pasta pasta pasta!

What is your most treasured possession? My father’s sweet handwritten letters.

What are you currently watching? Ozark

What are you most thankful for? All the love and support I have in my life.
