Do you remember the first thing you made? In first grade I did a painting of a truck that ended up in a kids art show at the Pasadena Museum.
Before I started making I… It's been stops and starts. I majored in Painting at CalArts and then had a long career in Advertising. I started painting again 15 years ago.
If I weren’t a maker I’d be... Depressed

If I could run away I’d go… to Italy but not right now.
If you could collaborate with one person dead or alive who would it be? David Hockney.
What would be on your maker’s soundtrack? The "I Love Lucy" theme song. It always brightens my mood.
If you could learn a new skill what would it be? Skiing
What’s your favorite movie? New Movie: Parasite. Old Movie: All About Eve.
What is your perfect day? A sunny day in my studio.
Last book you read? A Beautiful Crime by Christopher Bollen
What would your last meal be? 35 courses at Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
Favorite scent? Pizza
Favorite Flower or Tree? Christmas Tree
What is the most challenging project you have worked on? Why? When I was 18 a furrier commissioned me to do a huge mural of animals, minks, leopards, foxes... Difficult for on so many reasons.
What do you see outside your bedroom window? A mountain in Connecticut.
What do you hear right now? A plane flying over.
Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever met? Walt Disney, Robert Kennedy, Andy Warhol.
What was the last gift you gave someone? A painting.
If money was not a factor how would you live your life? Spending lot's and lots of money traveling all over the world.
Best piece of advice you have ever received? "Never miss the opportunity to go down a road you've never traveled before"..... Walt Disney said that to me and other scholarship winners for CalArts.
Any hidden talents? I can make tuna, noodle casserole.

Favorite time of day? Morning when it's quiet.
Favorite holiday? Christmas
What is your most treasured possession? A Warhol portrait of Mick Jagger.
What is your favorite family tradition? Travel
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Flying
Most interesting thing in your cabinet? Dot's Home Style Pretzels.
What are you currently watching? A Polish TV show called "The Mire".
What are you most thankful for? Living long enough to get Social Security.
